CALIFORNIA SEEMS TO BE GOING DOWN INTO A GRUESOME HEAP VERY QUICKLY. WHY ARE THEY BEHAVING SO BADLY? SOMEONE SHOULD CALL A DOCTOR ASAP.
Freeways and air pollution in our communities.
Tuesday, 12 April 2011 23:10
We must remind ourselves that there is nothing "free" about a freeway. Freeways, highways, and traffic corridors are filled with vehicles that generate thousands of tons, or millions of cubic yards of toxic particles every day.
Traffic generated pollution causes harm to every living organism, we know that. Poisons created infect respiratory systems which in turn cause breakdown and dysfunction of any tissue tied into, or dependent upon, our lungs and airways. This has always been the case.
Each, and every vehicle in operation is a culprit. Still, gross polluters like clunkers, muscle cars, and RVs abound.
We officially recognize and permit, children, the elderly, and the infirm to suffer ill health first.
Yet, we put our children in schools and playgrounds close to "freeways". Nearby, we also have hospitals, and convalescent homes.
Why do you doctors, teachers, parents, and public health officials stand aside and allow this? Why does anyone?

Moral obligation and personal responsiblity to protect life.
Sunday, 06 March 2011 23:35
It is every citizen’s moral obligation to protect life from willful destruction. This includes the vehicle pollution that is known by all to kill humans and many other life forms each and every day.
As a moral obligation, we must demand personal responsibility of ourselves, and of each other, as we must demand that religious leaders speak to the known cruelties of traffic caused death and illness.
Is it not the quest of most religions and scholars to encourage moral wisdom and ethical curiosity in the minds and hearts of you adherents?
Strong actions by the religious community is needed if we are to slow senseless destructive polluting of our air by burning fossil fuels to power automobiles and such.
Ninety percent of Californians breathe unhealthy levels of pollutants.
It is immoral that even one person should have take even one breath of human caused unhealthy air. There can be no equivocation on this, a poisonous substance is poison. To perpetuate such horror is become something far worse than what we call "evil".
A great number of you, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, and thieves continually drive cars, trucks, and motorcycles that spew enormous amounts of poison into the air we all must breathe..
Our present culture is on that demotes personal responsibility for these dangerous acts.
Nearly every official pronouncements on the subject burdena the victims with avoidance strategies rather than stopping the culprits. Great effort and attention is placed on those emergency personnel known as first "responders", yet what we, they need most, are citizens from all walks of life to act as "preventers", citizens who energetically work to put a stop to patently lethal activities that take place within their own community.
Thousands of us die from the effects of air pollution, thousands. Published literature and official health warnings proclaim that it is the children, the elderly, the infrim, and other sensitive persons are the first to suffer. Many of them die. What kind of humanity are we that knowingly sacrifice our own children?
Religion is practiced and espoused on a daily basis. Yet churches, synagogues, mosques, and other spiritual centers are surrounded by parking lots full of exhaust spewing cars, trucks and motorcycles driven by supposedly moral people.
It is a moral imperative for all to take immediate action to put a stop to this chronic horror.

Driven to extinction by oil spill. Drivers refuse to take blame.

Delusions, fantasies and madnesses...
Modern technology or crude attempts to avoid the reason of nature's reality? You be the judge.
As someone in Chicago said in 1968, " The whole world is watching."
Car cult oil spill.

Drivers are still killing the world. our world. Prevention is key to survival. We have plenty of "First Responers". We desperately need first, second, and third "Preventers".
...still.
Wildlife sacrificed at the car-truck-motorcycle-power tool altar.

YouTube proves its worth one more time. Can you? And, how often? Is your driving still "saving" you "time"? At what expense to others?
What's in the heart of a driver? Or the head? Don't ask? Don't tell?
West Coast USA Air Pollution

The West Coast and Western States of legend. Where cars are king, and everybody else is expendable.
Watch reality unfold in the Action-Movie below. Up the sound and off you go... the life you pave will be your own.And please remember that only the children die young.
"Clunkers" still chronic health menace.
Sunday, 07 March 2010 13:09
All cars kill, there's nothing new about that, but these poorly engineered, overproduced and oversold toxic derelicts we call "clunkers" do great harm to us every day.
"Clunkers" and "muscle" cars kill. Why? Because they can...
Their drivers, who, at other times, are thoughtful and compassionate, show no connection or responsiblity for the enormous amount of deadly exhuast they leave in their wake. "Clunkers in a hospital zone...cough and wheeze, cough and wheeze."
A license to kill? Ask your leaders why these toxic machines get official permission to continue operating.
Black carbon "soot" particulate pollution grows at our peril
Monday, 17 May 2010 20:25
Black Carbon "Soot" and all particulate pollution, small and large, continues to plague our air and land. All creatures are at risk. The courageous Center for Biological Diversity was forced, because of enforcement laxity by the U S Enivironmental Protection Agency, to file suit against the EPA because certain jurisdictions in some of our western states who seem to find that the Clean Air Act is low on their list of law abiding priorities,
