SaveTheSky - 2010 As you read this, many of our fellow citizens are operating, or are causing to be operated, toxic exhaust emitting engines that bring death and destruction onto themselves and their community.Do they do this because they are callous or stupid? Maybe. They often say these engines "saves time", or because the machines give them "freedom". Time is not somethig that can be saved. It something that is exploited as a pretext for horrific acts of destructon.
It is common knowledge that these machines throw off great clouds of toxic gases and particles that travel deep into our own lungs, and the lungs of our children. Many of them earn a paycheck to feed their own children, all the while operating these machines. They speak of "doing their job". Many of them claim to be maknig living even though their actions mean death.
We ask them to stop, or demand they use alternate means. Public officials who tell us that stopping them would place an undue burden on commerce.
This sort of attitude endangers public health and creates a deadly economic slavery.
